The Start of The Art

I'm lucky I'm old, because I have had the pleasure to be a part of many 'starts'. First steps, first words, first songs; the first time the art comes from the heart of the artist.

If you have experienced this you know, this is the life.

Starts are new and scary and messy, but there is something about the first time of anything special, that people will always try to re-create (can you say sequel?).

We're fortunate to live in a time when so many people have the opportunity to live out their artistic dreams, and we're even more fortunate to be privy to the process.

Grab an artist at the start of their art and join them on the ride.

This is your brain, This is your brain on bliss.

Wouldn't it be funny if the Internet and this uber loud and busy modern society, where noise, images, messages and other people bombard us constantly from everywhere, actually made and pushed us to become a more sentient people? Where we appreciated the silence and the quiet moments we could find without the rush and the noise? Where instead of wanting to be involved in every single thing - all the time, we more wanted to be a part of a collective, happy 'quiet'?

How very Guinan of me I know.

I ate too much cake and ice cream AND have an unexpected night off, so I am at the peak of bliss.
