Having a difficult time tonight trying to decide which songs will make the cut for Melissa's next album. Saying no to a song can feel like cutting off your arm or abandoning you child (not that I know what either of those things feel like), but it can be a gut wrenching decision. There are three of us working on this tonight and I think we may have pared down from 16 to 12...but it hasn't been pretty, there have been promises made to these songs, 'next album!, many live performances!', but I guess we'll see if they will accept those terms....
